Trail description
La Romantica is a freeride track for MTB that has nothing to envy to the more famous track of the Tornantissima.
The route indicated here starts from Rifugio Berni, on the road that leads to Passo del Gavia.
The route starts immediately with a not too difficult single track, but with many stones, which limit the flow at times . After several ups and downs you reach the Dosso Tresero, a very panoramic point over Santa Caterina and the whole Valfurva.
The path up to here is at times very exposed and suitable for expert bikers only
At that point the Romantica starts: a path that develops over an infinite number of very narrow and technical hairpin bends for about 3 km, for a difference in altitude of almost 700m.
A unique and unequaled fun, in the heart of the Stelvio National Park.
