Trail description

The departure is from Livigno, where, following the cycle path towards the lake, you reach the entrance to the Alpisella Valley.

The climb is entirely pedalable, even if the climb becomes more and more demanding as the approaching the Alpisella pass. The panorama after the pass is very characteristic and the mountains that frame it make the place very fascinating.

The descent towards the Cancano lakes is very fluid and not at all demanding, it also includes a fun alternative on single trail, towards the Adda springs.

Once you reach the lakes, continue for a flat stretch, before tackling the demanding climb in Valle Pettini, towards Malga Trela, where you can enjoy a well-deserved pause.

You then face the last climb, towards the Trela vents, which opens up a splendid panorama towards the Cima Piazzi glacier, which overlooks the rest of the route.

The descent which leads to the Decauville dirt road is quite technical and requires caution. Now there is only a short stretch of plain left, immersed in the woods, to reach Arnoga.
